Rectification of the new Ordinance No. 148/2022 on Household Appliances

Inmetro Publisher a corrécio of the new Ordinances No. 148/2022 of Apiances on 06/09/2022 chicha modified some items.

See what we highlight below:

For certificates issued in the old version, one year of the deadline was added so that the adjustment in the version indicated in the ordinance is mandatory, that is, the deadline was changed from 12/31/2024 to 12/31/2025;
Included the item, chicha makes it possible to accept reports already issued within 2 years, meeting the criteria below:
“6.1.1.4.1.2.1 Test reports issued before the start of the certification process by foreign laboratories accredited by Inmetro/Cgcre or signatories of the ILAC or IAAC mutual recognition agreements are accepted, provided that the equivalence of the test method and the established sampling methodology, up to a maximum period of 2 (two) years between the issuance of the test report and submission to the OCP.”

Included the item for recertifications, allowing reports already issued within 1 year, meeting the criteria below:
“6.1.3.1.1 Test reports issued before the start of the recertification process by foreign laboratories accredited by Inmetro/Cgcre or signatories of the ILAC or IAAC mutual recognition agreements are accepted, provided that equivalence is observed of the test method and the established sampling methodology, up to a maximum period of 1 (one) year between the issuance of the test report and the presentation to the OCP in the recertification stage.”

The items included in Table 2 “Devices not belonging to the Scope” were:
Item 16 – “Gas water heaters within the scope of the Inmetro Ordinances in force for domestic appliances that use gas as fuel and for Gas Water Heaters”;
Item 18 – “Instant water heaters, covered by the IEC 60335-2-35 standards”;
