We would like to remind you of the deadlines established by Inmetro Normative Instruction No. 283/2024 regarding the update of certificates for electromedical equipment.
As previously communicated, some technical standards currently used for certification will reach their deadline on December 31, 2026. Therefore, certificates that have not been updated to comply with the applicable versions of the standards may be suspended as of January 1, 2027, where applicable.
We understand that this process may require document reviews, additional testing, and coordination with manufacturers and laboratories. For this reason, we strongly recommend initiating the necessary actions as soon as possible to avoid any impact on the maintenance of your certification and the continuity of your products in the market.
