Inmetro has published Ordinance No. 47/2025, opening a Public Consultation to update the Conformity Assessment Requirements for IT Goods (Ordinance No. 304/2023).
Key proposed changes:
- Update of electromagnetic compatibility standards (CISPR 32/35);
- Inclusion of IEC 62368-1 as an alternative for electrical safety;
- Adjustments to product family formation criteria;
- Review of procedures for maintenance and recertification.
Deadline for contributions:
Until February 2, 2026 (45 days from publication in the Official Gazette on December 19, 2025).
